Improve core processes with a data-driven way of working
Convert insights from existing data into concrete actions to improve an organisation’s core processes. “Data-driven” means more than just building a dashboard and extracting insights from it.
We go further, offering people within the company action-oriented recommendations and helping them perform their day-to-day activities.
Our view on data-driven work
The first step towards a data-driven way of working
We help organisations gain a fresh perspective on data and derive new insights from this. These insights are used to define concrete actions within an operational (core) process. We accomplish this by having people and machines work together. Employees receive action-oriented recommendations from a model based on previous experiences and knowledge acquired across the years. They can either accept or reject these recommendations, which in turn allows the model to learn from the employees. The employees are empowered because their decision is substantiated by data insights, they trust the model because they understand that their input influences the model’s output, and they really like the approach in which model and man both learn from one another.
Benefits of a data-driven way of working with Experience Data

ACTION-ORIENTED RECOMMENDATIONS
Employees receive concrete recommendations and know exactly what to do. They are empowered because their decision is substantiated by data.

IMPROVE CORE PROCESSES
Organically improve operational core processes to better serve customers and allow employees to work smarter.

SAFEGUARD EXPERIENCES
The transformation towards a data-driven way of working requires a new, more fun, approach to learning within the organisation.

Example
At a major healthcare institution, we used analyses of current data to demonstrate the possibilities whenever data is deployed to improve the quality of care:
Is my organization ready for a data-driven way of working?
One thing we often encounter in our projects is that organisations believe they lack sufficient data for a data-driven way of working. This conception is usually not based on fact, and it will turn out that a significant amount of data is already available to start optimising the operational process.
We believe that every organisation is ready for data-driven way of working.

Cross-departmental approach
The context surrounding a data question is often broader than the question that has been posed. A cross-departmental perspective can be very useful. We include multiple organisation layers when we get down to work on the data. This often shows a surprising context, particularly if the data reveals different results. Ultimately, we focus on the operational core process and want to hear from the employees when and which decisions they make. This enables us to understand the data and optimise the processes.
Learning by doing, in 3 steps
It’s easy to make a quick start: we have a comprehensible and proven approach to guide the organisation
towards a successful launch of a data-driven way of working.
1

CREATE A DATA FOUNDATION
Connect and discover the experiences hiding in the collective memory and structure them for use.
2

RECEIVE ACTION-ORIENTED RECOMMENDATIONS
The data provides you with action-oriented recommendations to base your decisions on.
3

CHANGE CORE PROCESSES FOR REAL IMPACT
Work will become more fun, because you’ll be able to focus on the things that matter most. This is how we create impact together.
